Clementene was commissioned by a London-based interior designer to source and paint two demi lune console tables. Her client wanted the pieces painted in a modern, flat, high-gloss finish. Clementene sanded, cleaned and primed each piece with a superior quality primer / sealer. She used a fine quality water-based eggshell paint and a high grade sand paper which she used between each layer to achieve an ultra-flat and smooth finish. The paint was sealed with a high-gloss varnish. She used a very fine wire wool to sand each coat of varnish for a mirror-like finish.
