Clementene was commissioned to source a beautiful antique vintage display cabinet for her client’s bathroom. Clementene found this beautiful cabinet at an auction. She sanded, cleaned and primed the piece with a shellac-based primer. She then painted the cabinet in a duck-egg blue on the exterior and a linen-grey on the interior. The paint

was sealed with several coats of a hard-wearing, water-resistant varnish. She subtly ‘distressed’ the edges of

the piece to create a naturally aged patina.
