Reloved Magazine - Clementene Coates Shares Her Secrets On Upcycling & Hand Painting Furniture

By Clementene Coates, Apr 10 2015 12:01PM

I’m over the moon to share with you the news that I’m in the May issue of the fabulous Reloved Magazine which has just come on sale now.

I did two features: the first is a simple step-by-step guide on painting a piece of furniture...

Whilst the second is my top 30 tips on up-cycling furniture (that may seem like a lot of information to give away, but I’ve still got a lot of secrets up my sleeves! One day, I may share a few more with you!).

I’m thrilled to say that little Teddie the side table / storage chest painted in Annie Sloan’s Graphite and Florence chalk paint has a page all to himself. So proud!

And don’t forget, Teddie has just gone on sale in my online shop on my website.

And for all those Annie Sloan fanatics out there (like me!), Annie is a regular columnist in Reloved Magazine and this month she’s showcasing her new range of stencils which she is launching in spring. Very exciting – I’m going to have to invest! Keep an eye out on Annie's website here

Also, there’s a great interview with the delightful Chris Billinghurst of Ecochicinteriors who talks about redesigning your home in a sustainable and eco-friendly fashion. She’s a legend in the design and creative industry.

So, if you’re interested in being creative and up-cycling for your home, do get a copy. You won’t be disappointed! Visit Reloved Magazine for details on where you can purchase a copy. I got mine from WHSmith.

As always, if you have any questions about me and my work, don’t hesitate to get in touch via my contact page.
