Clementene sanded, cleaned, primed and painted these two very large pine wardrobes - inside and out - in a flat finish using fine quality, self-levelling, water based interior eggshell paints. She removed the doors, the drawers and all hardware and used masking tape to ensure clean, sharp lines between the contrasting interior and exterior colours. Using a fine brush, she applied gold leaf gilding between the carved lines along the turret.
