I was invited by Country Living Magazine to take part in the Country Living Spring Fair at the BDC in Islington, London between 18 - 22 March to showcase a new 'Country Living' range of paints by Marston & Langinger. For the duration of the fair, I painted a range of furniture live in front of the Country Living crowd. And, on the final day, I was guest speaker on the Country Living Theatre stage discussing and answering questions on 'How to Choose the Right Paint Colour'. Amongst other publications, my little business featured in Bdaily Business News following an invitation I received from the Prime Minister, David Cameron, to showcase my business at 10 Downing Street. I was absolutely thrilled to have been invited to contribute to the May issue of the fabulous Reloved Magazine: the go-to-guide for all your up-cycling needs. I wrote two features: the first, a step-by-step guide on painting a piece of furniture; the second, my 30 top tips for painting furniture. I was over the moon that one of my pieces was featured by my idol Annie Sloan. Annie did a little piece on Teddie on her Facebook Page. I love working with Annie's gorgeous range of chalk paints. For more examples of pieces I've painted with Annie's paints, take a look at my portfolio.

I was showcasing two stunning chairs and a lamp which I restored and hand painted using Annie's Chalk Paint®. The chairs were reupholstered in beautiful fabric designed by mother and daughter textile designers, Witts Design, who also made a lovely lamp shade too.
We were overwhelmed with the responses we received. The very sweet Annie loved the transformation and even had a sit in one of the chairs, whilst Kirstie cooed over all three pieces.

I was excited beyond words to have my hand painted, gold leaf gilded four poster bed post showcased at Decorex International 2015 at Syon Park, London this month.
Decorex International is synonymous with luxury and is internationally renowned for being THE event to discover the very best and most coveted products.
I was commissioned by the wonderfully talented interior designer, Vaness Rhodes, of Turnpost Beds. Vanessa designs these luxurious four poster beds, which are hand-turned by skilled craftsman here in Britain. These beautiful beds have featured in Homes & Garden Magazine.
