Hermione - Sideboard

Meet Hermione – a stunning large sideboard which we’ve restored and painted in a classic cream on the exterior and a French grey on the interior. The paint has been lightly distressed to create a natural weathered look and the whole piece has been treated to two coats of clear varnish.

Painted with a rustic French country cottage in mind, Hermione is a very large and sturdy piece of furniture with gorgeous cabriole legs and curved carvings on the cupboard doors. She’s quite simply bold and beautiful.

We kept her original brass door and drawer handles, which we gently buffed so they stand out against the cool cream exterior. With three large central draws and two roomy side cupboards (each with a fitted shelf) Hermione provides plenty of storage space.

Hermione will add a striking touch to almost any room and we can see her fitting in very nicely in a large kitchen or living space.

All of Clementene's painted furniture is lovingly restored and fit for purpose. Please note that some pieces may have suffered a few knocks and scrapes before it came to Clementenes. After all, it’s what gives the furniture its personality and charm. Clementene repairs what needs repairing, but as for any little imperfections she embraces these and will often highlight them as a feature. Clementene will always do her best to show sizeable bumps (if any) in her photographs. Although she hopes that if you’ve come this far, you’ll welcome the unique character of each piece as much as she does!

Your delivery options...

Clementene will arrange to deliver the furniture to your door for a reasonable fee, or you are more than welcome to pick the furniture up from her studio at no extra cost.

If Clementene is arranging delivery, the cost will be calculated by working out the distance from her studio (WF17) to your home.

Between 0 – 100 miles you will be charged a flat fee of £50. If the distance is more than 100 miles, please get in touch for your own bespoke delivery cost.

Painting class policy...

In the event that you cancel your booking a 25% processing fee will be incurred. If you cancel within 7 days of the course start date, or in the event of non-attendance, refunds will not be given.

Should you wish to reschedule the class, a 10% processing fee will be incurred. Classes may not be rescheduled within 7 days of the course start date.

If, due to unforeseen circumstances, the class date changes or it is cancelled, you will be refunded the cost of the class in full.

Gift vouchers are not redeemable and are only valid for up to 12 months from the date of purchase.
